Although these complications cannot always be prevented, it is<\/strong> still possible to drastically reduce<\/strong> their incidence and severity<\/strong> by implementing prevention with a podiatric treatment<\/strong> protocol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The key to amputation prevention is early detection and screening of the feet of patients at risk, at least once a year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
